Effective and Affordable Passive Fleet Management
COMPONENTS OF THE CHECKMATE FLEET TRACKING SYSTEM
Checkmate's passive fleet tracking system uses a vehicle
unit in conjunction with either the Wireless Down loader or
Checkmate Key to transfer tracking information to your database.
Below are the common components.
Fleet Tracking Unit
Wireless Down loader
Checkmate Fleet Tracking Unit is installed
in your vehicle, typically inside the dashboard or
behind the radio. The GPS and RF antennas are hooked
up to this box, as well as any PTO or event switches
you would like to monitor. (Driver ID key not included
with GO RF or GO Live units)
The GEOPORT wireless receiver is connected
to your PC using a USB connection. This receiver collects
tracking information from the fleet when the ignition
is turned off within range.
Fleet Tracking RF Antenna
Checkmate GPS Antenna
This flat 4 inch radio antenna is
used by the fleet tracking unit installed in the vehicle
to transmit vehicle tracking data to the GEOPORT wireless
receiver inside the office.
This GPS antenna is connected to the
fleet tracking unit inside the vehicle to collect
satellite radio signals to determine location and
speed.
Checkmate Touch Head/Driver ID Key
GO Live Modem
The Checkmate touch head is used with
the Checkmate key to transfer data, ID drivers and update
commands between the office computer and vehicle unit
if not using the wireless capabilities. It is also
used for programming vehicle units or retrieving vehicle
accident data.
The GO Live Modem can be used to upgrade
any passive unit to the new Real Time tracking platform.
Now using the GPRS network nationwide GPS data can
be available immediately while still containing all
the great detailed tracking of our passive units.
CHECKmate Fleet Tracking Software
Engine Diagnostics
The Checkmate System use it's own software that must
be installed on your office PC. The software uses
Microsoft Map Point for displaying tracking and zone
information, as well as a database to store all your
information permanently for use at any later time.
Consider for sales, technical support
groups.
