GO LIVE - Checkmate's new Real Time
GPS Integration uses the GSM/GPRS Network to send highly detailed
tracking and exception information. Now for the first time
ever, customers can use both passive and real time technology
throughout their fleet.
Checkmate is now offering a real-time
system called GO Live. GO Live provides updates from 30-300
seconds depending on vehicle activity, not time intervals.
This unique reporting method provides the same detail as a
passive tracking system but in a live mode using GPRS and
Edge technology. The GO Live modem allows customers starting
with a GO RF or GO Key units the flexibility to upgrade at
a future date to real time vehicle tracking as fleet requirements
change. (added costs apply for the conversion).
The GO Live GMS/GPRS units include an external
GPRS modem that will run on the Cingular wireless GPRS/Edge
network in the United States and the Rogers Wireless network
in Canada. Extensive real time vehicle tracking coverage is
available in most populated areas of the USA (Conus), Canada,
Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
Data can be sent TRUE Live (as logs are registered
according to the Checkmate parameters) they are sent –
or - log records can be bundled and sent in the standard small
packets of 12 logs throughout the day. The unit records and
reports exactly as the GO Key and GO RF systems including
Driver ID, accident memory, speed buzzer features and can
monitor PTO activity and auxiliary sensors.
One Database for All Systems
The best part of the Checkmate system is that
all devices can work together by sending their data to one
centralized data base using SQL SVR (not provided). This allows
companies with mixed tracking needs to only use real time
vehicle tracking units on a limited number of vehicles therefore
minimizing the monthly airtime rates. The GO Mobile device
also reports data to the centralized data based and offers
a fleet management tool for sales reps or for use in personal
vehicles.
