System Overview

This is a one of a kind, high resolution, passive vehicle tracking system that works with Map Point® USA 2004 & 2006 North America or European edition and any customer supplied map in ESRI format. It only takes about 30 seconds to download data and there are no monthly wireless communication fees or need for manager involvement during the download process. Don't worry about losing the optional driver ID keys either. The vehicle unit stores up to 10,000 miles of driving data at all times. A 900MHZ wireless download option is available and recommended for mid to large fleets.

Possible Applications:
Ideally suited for fleets of 20-50,000 vehicles where real time information is not needed but extensive reporting, mapping and minimal on-going technical support is a must. Use it to verify route and driver activity, service, speed, time at customer location and detailed route analysis.

Mode of Operation:
High resolution data recorder (passive). Data is stored on the vehicle unit for later review after downloading to a local PC or to a central network database.

Communication Method:
Data is transferred from the vehicle using a secure and reliable 900MHz wireless connection or using a memory stick (drive ID key).
