GO RF - Passive GPS System
The GO RF passive GPS system captures the same highly detailed GPS tracking data as the other GO devices but without the monthly service fees. GPS track data is stored on the unit until the vehicle returns to the office and transfers the data using a 900 MHz wireless connection. The GO series allows fleet operators to use passive trackers and live tracking technology in the same fleet so fleet operators can minimize monthly services fees. This is a great system for small fleets or enterprise applications on a WAN. Fleets of up at 60,000 units are currently using this telematics system. The GO4 RF unit also brings the advantage of capturing engine performance data through the OBDII connector. Other platforms provide J1939 and J1708 data ports for engine fault code data. Staying ahead of maintenance issues is one reason GO products are an industry leader in large to enterprise fleets.
